Columbia is(was?) my first choice because I really love the emphasis on policy, which is the arena I want to get into, and I want to be in New York. After that, the other two are tied. I'm torn between Penn's program and being in New York.
So I guess it's safe to assume since they've started admitting non-priority applicants that I should be expecting a rejection. I just wish they would say something instead of dragging it out and pretending there's some big holdup; that way I could pick which school I want to attend.
That's how I feel!! I'm trying to stop figuring it out but I can't help myself! Lol
I'm just regular 2 year residential. I thought maybe they were doing advanced standing first but then I've seen people from all tracks so I'm not sure how they decided to group us.
I submitted on November 11th and got the confirmation on November 27th! And I saw some people who submitted right at the deadline who heard back already so who knows at this point?
I feel you! When they responded to my inquiry they said they were finalizing the last group of priority applicants. Which doesn't make me feel good because I had my application in way before some of the other people who have already been accepted...
I heard back from NYU in December and already had to ask for 2 extensions and UPenn gave me until March 15 and I reallyyyyy don't want to ask them for an extension as well. Columbia is my top choice but this wait is ridiculous?
I've been stalking this thread for awhile now trying to see what's going on and finally decided to join in lol. Has anyone heard any more updates? I emailed them last week and they said the first few weeks of March but I'm not understanding how some people heard back weeks ago and the rest of us keep getting the runaround. It's so frustrating!!
