I'm a current PhD student interested in applying to the Fulbright program (research) next year. Hope you don't mind me eavesdropping to get a sense of what to start preparing.  Hoping to go to a French- or German-speaking Switzerland.
Several years ago I applied for a Fulbright in Hungary but was not selected. Hoping that additional research and work experience will help!

I had a dream last night about the GRFP too! I dreamt I didn’t get the award. They told me I was in group 2 but I also didn’t get an honorable mention. Then my reviews were like “the references were not alphabetized” and that was why I didn’t get it. It was rough. And then I woke up in a panic and checked my email to see that there was nothing there.

hahaha! I get the anxiety (I'm with you), but these conversations are starting to get a bit ridiculous.

Do you think the NSF would still select us if they saw our belief in Reddit mystics and superstitions? ^^
