  1. No question is a dumb question. Yes, you can take more classes/courses without an additional fee. The benefit is just making full use of your time there given it is just 9 months. Credits vary between 2 and 4 usually but depends on course to course.
  2. I have the exact same question. Where does the Impact Award come from? Was there a separate application?
  3. Is anyone making a tough choice between IEDP at UPenn and IEP at HGSE? The UPenn being a longer-term program with the embedded international internship seems enticing to me, but then giving up Harvard is not easy. It comes with its own resources and network to tap on. Anyone any thoughts? I am making a shift from business consulting to education after 7 years of experience, so am more inclined to internships and longer program. Does that help with jobs? Note, at the same time I also have 8 years of educational pro bono and voluntary experience across non-profits and corporates.
  4. Hello all, I am in the same boat as yours and utterly confused between the IEDP at Penn and IEP at HGSE. Still awaiting the financial aspects but let us leave that aside for a while, which of the two did you eventually chose and why? The international internship at Penn is a big draw for me and the fact that I am switching from business consulting to education after 7 years of experience, so an 18-month program makes sense versus a 9-month at Harvard. I have been consistently leading pro bono and voluntary educational initiatives with my business consulting job.
  5. I am facing the same dilemma. Can anyone of you share what you chose and how it worked?
  6. If you are targeting this year, then Europe has the application period open. Not sure of the other places. I only applied to the US, few programs such as UPenn, George Washington, Columbia, NY should have admissions open. They accept rolling applications.
  7. In the next 2-3 weeks, we should have the details.
  8. Congratulations to all who could make it. Those who couldn't there is surely something better waiting for you in the pipeline. All the very best for it! Is there anyone who is confused between the IEDP at UPenn and the IEP at HGSE program? I have been admitted to both but am utterly confused. As of now, I am more inclined to the Penn program given that it offers the internship and is an 18-month program versus the 9-month at Harvard. But it is still a tough choice to make.
  9. I have applied. As far as I know, not everyone gets an interview call. I mean one can be selected even without the interview.
  10. That's a relief. thanks for checking.
  11. Congrats I currently only know of the bigger and thus more common ones - Inlaks, Aga Khan, World Bank, and PEO Int. Peace scholarship for women. Let me know if you find anything.
  12. All the best. They usually take 4-6 weeks!
  13. Anyone applied/accepted to the IEDP masters program at UPenn? I am looking for external scholarship options because have received only $13k in merit scholarships. The fellowship results of 100% scholarship are not out until the decision due date. I have also received a good scholarship for IEPM at Vanderbilt but Penn is the preferred choice. Any thoughts?
  14. Thanks and good luck!
  15. Yes. All the best to us!
