Waiting on Utah as well

If anyone applied to Denver’s Affect/Social/Cog program and is waiting for a response: I had a Skype interview on Friday. Was told not all professors do Skype interviews, so don’t worry if you haven’t heard anything. Also, was told faculty will be meeting on January 7th to decide on who to invite for official interview weekend, and that invites will be sent out following that meeting (I assume throughout the day/week). Hope this helps anyone who is waiting!

I say book the room/airbnb and get a good night sleep. I had an interview I had the option to sleep on the couch of a student, or sleep in a nice airbnb and do my own routine. I stayed at the airbnb and felt so refreshed the next day, instead of worried and unrested. I was accepted. Take care of yourself, and good luck!

Well this may not be as constructive but I’m my new hobby is convincing my SO we need a third dog while looking at all the rescue sites within a 60 mile radius of my house.

I feel like if you look at the results page, a majority of the interviews being sent out are for counseling, developmental, and clinical. Even the clinical forum is showing much more interview invites than social, I/O, or cognitive.

Sometimes I check my email, wait a couple seconds, and then refresh it again just to torment myself! Realistically, I’m aware it’s highly unlikely I hear from any schools before January (applied to Social and I/O).

I kind of did the opposite haha. I applied to Social and indicated two POIs. One from the Pers. Dev/Health concentration and one from Social.

Their loss! We got this!

Blah, I've given up on Northwestern. I think my POI already extended an interview invite to another candidate.
