  1. I had a phone interview here as well, never heard anything back about it. Did you?
  2. Hi, will you be at Mizzou's on campus interview? I will be there!
  3. Yes, I have. I am invited to their on campus interview. It's Feb 4-6th.
  4. I know how you feel. We just gotta hang in there. ?
  5. I had my first Skype interview today at UGA. I am so excited, and hope I hear back with good news. But also I hope I get more interviews....
  6. The school I'm going to currently (an R1) does not go through admissions processes this way.
  7. This doesn't seem to be a very good method, as research match, fit, and motivation should be a researchers main concern when selecting a mentee. I wouldn't even want to work with people who make selections this way. Although, they should be honest and admit this could be part of the admissions process so as to not waste my money.
  8. I am in the same boat as you. I have V: 162, Q:150, AW: 5. I did a lot better on my practice tests but I just have really bad test anxiety. I got one interview so far. I'm afraid of my app being disregarded too. But if a school does that, they are probably not for me. I am currently in a Master's program and got A's in two recent advanced statistic courses that are the same courses that the PhD students take - which I think should weigh more than GRE quant scores, as the actual math I'll be using is statistics! But, hey we'll see.
  9. That's where your statement of purpose is gonna shine!
  10. Another Social Psych applicant for Fall 2019. I am applying to 15 schools. They're due Dec 1 and Dec 5 and I've only submitted half of them so far..... Here for moral support, either to give it or receive it Good luck everybody.
  11. Best on what you've said, I'm not sure what you're worried about. You just described an extremely stellar application. You have tons of experience, publications, top scores in GRE and strong letters. Is your AW score or SOP not in a good state? Do you not have experience working with human subjects? I think you're worrying over nothing
