I applied to UWindsor Neuropsych. Last year interview invites went out on January 24, I'm assuming they'll be sent out around the same time this year.

I had an informal interview with a PI there this week, and was told that their internal deadline to send out invites for departmental interviews was next Friday.

Question for those of you writing OGS/CGS applications: What's your process? Are you working with a prof on the application or is it all by yourself? I'm unsure about what the norm with that is.

@nerdy_metalheadThat's common enough, I would apply to them but definitely contact other profs from the school if your research interests align with them. For the GRE scores, from my understanding it doesn't matter if you meet posted cut-offs. I know at least 1 person who had a similar (IIRC worse) quant score and got in.

Is there a specific population you'll be working with in these positions? Know them well and some of the challenges that might be a part of working with them. They might ask you some situational questions about what you would do if things go wrong while you're administering tests.

From what I understand, it's just up to the POI. Mine said they'll be giving out offers early next week.

Anybody here attending York's open house tomorrow?

Has anybody else not heard anything from York yet? Haven't been contacted by any POI, but my application status still says it's under consideration.
