  1. I applied to Mayo IMM and got the in-person on site recruitment invitation. They told us on the interview day that only highly-ranking candidates are invited, and not getting invites does not mean you will not get offers. So yes, I think receiving invitation mean we're close to being admitted.
  2. Which track in Columbia CMBS that you applied? Also, did you know if all the track under CMBS send interview at the same time?
  3. Did you heard anything from CU Anschutz yet? I saw someone updated on gradcafe result that they got interview. Also, they told me that they will sent out invites this week.
  4. Wondering if anyone knows Penn IGG and Columbia Microbiology and Immunology (M&I) has started / finished sending interview offer?
  5. I heard that they already had the list of whom they want to invite for interview. Not sure if that means they already sent out all invites.
  6. I worked at Yale and heard that they already sent out all interviews
  7. It was really quick. They just asked very basic question like your research, why you want to do PhD in CU Anschutz.
  8. Microbiology and Immunology for Columbia. I can only share that I am international student, doing undergrad in US.
  9. Harvard, Yale, WUSTL DBBS, NYU, Sloan, Pitts, MD Anderson, Baylor, Emory, Columbia, Weill Cornell, Mayo, Penn, UT Southwestern (interview), Brown pathobiology (interview). All are immunology programs. How about you? Finger crossed for us.
  10. Hey, I also got it. Which day will you do the interview? Mine is this Wednesday.
  11. Thanks for letting me know. I searched and checked my spam email but did not see it. Maybe because I'm international student. Not sure why? Anyway I just saw someone update interview offer from Penn IGG ? Have anyone heard from Penn IGG (Immunology) yet?
  12. It's great that you have multiple options to choose from. First, I think you need to ask them which project they would want you participate in and who will be your direct mentor in lab. Given the situation you described, you may have more direct mentoring from the Harvard PI, which will be very good for your future grad school letter. With the Scripps lab, you may work under postdoc/ graduate student, which is totally fine, but if it is possible, you should request to talk with your direct mentor. Project topic should also be an essential factor (choose what excites you most). For all options, as long as you completed well your task and responsibility in lab, they should give you letter ( just nicely asked by the end of your internship). Being a co-author on the paper is great, but what you will do during your internship and how well you understand it are even more important. Good luck.
  13. Thanks for letting me know. Which track did you apply? Reddit people told me that they are applying to Translational Molecular Medicine, Pharmacology, and Physiology. I'm curious if people received the questionnaire are those applied to this track.
  14. For those that applied to Yale BBS, did you receive a supplemental questionnaire with 2 additional questions via email? I saw people talking on Reddit about it and they assumed everyone will receive it, but I did not receive any email from Yale at all.
  15. Same. It's so quite this year. Did people move to Reddit ?? Let's keep updates when schools start sending out interview offers.
  16. Same question. Does anyone know if there is any chance that Mount Sinai will accept someone from the waitlist? Also, how long should we hear back from them? I only saw accept and waitlist, so I'm curious if they don't even send any rejection
  17. Hey, Where did you find the information that UPenn GCB will send international student interview invitations on late Jan? I emailed the program coordination but still have not received response yet.
  18. Have anyone heard about UPenn computational biology track ?
