  1. Bowling Green State University has a really good voice program! They are very active in research.
  2. @Prisci aslp I know like three or four that will be turning down their offers. I know that another round of offers was sent out today.
  3. I go to BGSU and I know several people that I go to school with who received offers and will be turning them down. I'd say you have a decent chance of getting in. I wish you the best of luck!
  4. Guess I should specify...who's going into the speech-language pathology program?
  5. I just accepted my offer at BGSU this week for this fall! Anyone else going there?
  6. I have declined my offers at Miami University, Kent State University, and University of Toledo.
  7. I have narrowed down my grad school options to Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo. I'm not sure which one to choose. BGSU is my undergraduate institution and they offered me $4,500 in funding. I would already be familiar with the faculty and I know the town already so I wouldn't have to learn a whole new place. However, I had an interview at the University of Toledo last week and I really liked the program, the faculty, and the graduate students. They haven't offered any funding yet, but their program is ranked lower than BGSU's. BGSU is ranked #69 and UT is #120, which seems significant. Could anyone tell me any more about these programs to help me decide? Thanks!
  8. I have attended BGSU for undergrad and I have had a good experience here! The majority of the faculty are incredibly nice and will help you in any way they can. I don't know a lot about their graduate program, but I think it is pediatric-focused. As far as the town goes, I think that living in Bowling Green is fun. There is a wide variety of bars and restaurants and Toledo is not too far away. However, I come from a small town and Bowling Green seems like a big city to me. Lol. If you come from a larger city, then BG might seem boring to you. I like it because it is a pretty laid back town.
  9. Also, BGSU offered me a $4,500 scholarship so that is something I have been considering!
  10. So far, I have been accepted to Bowling Green State University, Miami University, and Kent State. I may get offered a spot at the University of Toledo later this week. I have no idea where I should attend. I feel like each program has positive things to offer. BGSU is where I have attended undergrad but I really don't know a lot about their graduate program and the type of placements they offer. I really want to go into medical speech-language pathology. If someone would be willing to give me some pros and cons about any of these schools, that would be great!!
