Wait-list again. Joy. Already accepted CSULB and registered for class. Their loss. Hang in there!!!

Fullerton sent out notification for me today and wait listed again (2nd year in a row). I was admitted to CSULB back in February and accepted right away. Fullerton takes too long, and even with good grades(3.84 gpa) and experience, great letters of recommendation, I still don't fit the bill.

I got my notice via email last week that I was wait listed for the 3 year MSW program at CSUF. Kind of bummed since I was a strong candidate for the program with a gpa of 3.86 going in, and three really great letters of recommendation (one of which was from the dept head for Human services program). I'm hoping that someone will decide they don't want to go there so I don't have to wait another year. Not sure what my chances are of being accepted offer the wait-list with only 30 in the cohort for fall.

I emailed admissions at CSUF last week and inquired about the application status for the part-time MSW program. Kelly Segovia told me that notifications of acceptance/rejection would be sent out by the end of the month. Hope this helps. I've been waiting almost seven weeks for some news after my interview.
