In April I received a reject from CSU EAST BAY for extended-MS in SLP followed by an admit for Post- bacc B.S. in SLP. I accepted the admit for UW post-bacc in BS SLP and now I have an email asking for interview from EAST BAY.
I am in dilemma as to what to do?
The points here are:-
1. B.S. requires me to do 75 extra credits apart from 50 mandatory credits included in post-bacc program. The extra credits include subjects from I&S, VLPA all of which are completely not related to SLP.
2. I am not sure what extra classes East bay asks the students to take for the extended masters program.
3. I do know that ranking wise UW is way above East bay, but does it affect the job prospects after graduation? (I am aware that if I choose UW, I will have to apply for masters next year and go through admission process again) But will Post -bacc from UW make my profile strong?
I am personally interested in medical SLP and want to gain my experience in that.
Any suggestions would be thankful and help me in taking my final decision.
