  1. Mine disappeared too. but bububu but! remember the wisdom from hks admission office? "Changes in the status page prior to the release of decisions has no bearing on the final admission decision" (2020 Application Reading and Decision Process - Post #14)
  2. Just received my financial assistance letter. Half tuition. I'm beyond happy. Anyone else would like to share their package?
  3. In the congratulations email from Jackson, it says that “If you requested financial assistance on your Jackson application, you will be receiving a financial award letter within the next few days.”
  4. Wholeheartedly thank you! I really hope you hear some good news from HKS next week!
  5. I'm sorry to hear that. But you've got some incredible choices. HKS is coming next week - fingers crossed for you! I‘ll have to see what HKS has to offer. I would love to do a MPP/JD at Yale if HKS does not work out.
  6. Check your status portal!!! ITS OUT!
  7. HOLY SHIT I AM IN!!!!!! EDIT: Congrats to everyone who got in. And to the ones who did not, I'm sure you there is some fantastic news down the road. Good luck to you all!
  8. The waiting is killing me. I hope we can hear by the end of this week.
  9. Correct. In previous years, when the decision day approached, there were slight changes to status page. e.g. disappearing of instructional text etc.
  10. I applied to Carr but heard nothing. They don't do interviews, do they?
  11. last sentence of today's blog post: "Changes in the status page prior to the release of decisions has no bearing on the final admission decision." It might be true, but I won't listen. I will most likely theorize the shit out of any change taking place on the status page. Sorry, just can't help.
  12. I think we have at least two solid weeks to go
  13. I also received the MYFAID email containing the instructions for setting up finaid account. Does everyone who applied finaid get this? I know it says "receipt of this email should not be construed as providing any information on your likelihood of admission", but I'm just curious. EDIT: checked previous years' results and apparently everyone got the email. lol
  14. not a shocker but still kinda disappointed. thanks for the update!
  15. Reading process #12 just out. It seems this year adcomm are having more fun with blog posts. And thank god i'm a Mac user
  16. After reading all the posts about how selective Dubin is, I decided to just assume I did not get shortlisted and carry on with my life. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ GIVE WAVE ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
  17. I think we are all waiting for CPL interviews, as they are the only ones specifically scheduled for this week.
  18. The silence is killing me
  19. Based on the information from last year, CPL interview invites came on thursday and friday. so my guess is Feb 20 and 21 this year?
  20. Great thanks so much for the info! That basically stopped me from emailing them the third time about this link hahaha.
  21. I reached out to admission and they provided this link:https://harris.uchicago.edu/admissions/blog/scholarship-reconsideration . However, the "form" on this page is invalid. I tried to contact them multiple times after that but did not get any replies. Can anyone contact them again?
  22. I did too. I assume everyone who applied for CPL got the email.
  23. I applied! But it’s a long shot for me.
  24. It's certainly possible. I can attest to this because I have a humanities BA with little/no experience in policy, and got accepted to Harris MPP last month. If you check the admission websites, schools always say they welcome people with diverse backgrounds. I think it really depends on how you spin your background in your essays. Your undergrad degree in poli sci could be really relevant. If i were you i would work hard on my essays and explain how your past experience is relevant to your future policy studies.
  25. hahaha true. but they are HKS, i guess they can request whatever they want lol good luck to you too!
