  1. Thank you for this illuminating thread. Would you mind sharing the names of the other programs that you've heard are similar? Or can current graduate students in other programs chime in about whether they've experienced something similar in their programs? Has anyone gotten any sort of lowering of tuition?
  2. Just declined at MGH, Northeastern, University of Colorado-Boulder, University of Iowa, CSUEB, and took myself off the waitlist at Vanderbilt. I'll be attending Boston University!

  4. Hi thanks for your response! My applicant portal still says my application is under review, and I've been checking it non-stop. I had no idea that they already had their open house and just thought they were sending out responses in waves. I will definitely be emailing them!
  5. For that matter, has anyone else not heard back from Vanderbilt or University of Wisconsin-Madison too? I know some people have, but I have not.
  6. Hi, I'm leaving to travel for my gap year in early October, so I'm trying to get my SLP grad school applications done as early as possible. Most schools already have their applications open or at least their application essay available prior to the application being open. However, California State University--East Bay's application doesn't open until October 1st, and I can't find the essay topic anywhere. Does anyone who has applied in past years have the essay topic? (And if so, it would be greatly appreciated if you could add what year the essay topic was from too.) Thanks so much!
