  1. I also got funding offer from VCU. The department and faculty seem really good, but I am not sure about the neighborhood and the safety for a single female. What do you think?
  2. What do you guys think? The programs are close in terms of ranking. Both offered full fund. I had no connection with a specific professor in both places, because I wanted to keep my options open. I would appreciate your input on this.
  3. Just been accepted into Drexel University. Their PhD program is new, they have no graduates yet. What do you guys think about their department?
  4. Has anyone conducted the interview with University of Florida (professor Xiang-Yang Lou)?
  5. Yes, they need a decision before end of Feb. This is my first time applying to US universities, so I was not aware of this resolution. I will contact some current students. Thank you.
  6. I've received an offer from IUPUI (biostat) with guaranteed funding for up to 5 years. They have a tight deadline of 28th Feb, though. Any ideas about their department?
  7. Thank you for your reply. Do you have any names in your mind for such schools?
  8. I am an international female student from Palestine. I am interested in pursuing biostatistics PhD for Fall 2020 in USA. I have a high GPA and I'm the top of my class in both bachelor and master studies, but my research/work experience is not very impressive. I am confident that my LORs are very strong. I would really appreciate your thoughts about my chances in acceptance to graduate schools in the US this coming year.
