Hi everyone! MIT CSB is launching our new application assistance program this year, we are a student-run program providing support to CSB applicants, especially from communities underrepresented in STEM, or from non-traditional academic backgrounds. Applicants are paired with a graduate student who can answer questions about CSB and MIT, provide feedback on materials to create a stronger application and guide applicants through the CSB application process. Hi everyone! If you're planning on applying to grad school this year, a lot of schools have student-run application assistance programs that you can apply to to be matched with mentors who are current students. Especially if you are from an underrepresented or non-traditional background, please consider applying to these programs! Here's a list of such programs offered at MIT in different departments. These programs usually have rolling matches with deadlines that range from a few months to weeks before the actual application deadlines so make sure to apply early to maximize the support you can get! I got an invite to MIT CSB at exactly the same time too

I heard back from them yesterday morning, interviews are on Feb 7 according to the email I received. The email seemed personalized, not a mass email.
