  1. This is the thread for Political Science PhD applications.
  2. Is there anyone who was offered admission to Rochester? Can you please share if there has been a visit day or a recruitment session? If yes, how many students were offered admission?
  3. Has anyone received a rejection from Rochester?
  4. I think there were 3 acceptances posted in the results page. If you set the search filter to Rochester you will find them.
  5. If someone has not received any admission offer or waitlist decision from NYU, can assume rejection - right? From the last couple of years- it looks like they don't release the rejections until late in March.
  6. Yeah, slightly worried about how this entire thing pans out. So, the list of Universities had a mix of both- my choice and what IIE chose for me. Applications went to HKS, UMichigan, GWU, and Georgia Tech.
  7. Congratulations! Great universities. When I asked my country office, they replied that the placement decision would come during Mid-April to End of May. Now that, I think, most of the universities have released their decisions, I would ask them again today. Let's see.
  8. Do you know about the results of the other three universities?
  9. Fellow Fulbright scholarship recipients, @spnfiim, @Anathema, @galaxymega, please post if you get to know anything from your country office.
  10. We were told that sometimes applicants contact the universities on their own, which they highly discourage. May be this is why they are not communicating the acceptance decisions. Also, they make the decision that makes the best case for them, so I guess they want to avoid requests from applicant's end during this time. I am only making assumptions.
  11. Hahaha! It has both- pros and cons.
  12. It's nice that your country office let you know about your UMichigan acceptance. My country office informed me that they would communicate the placement decision during Mid-April to End of May and it will be the final decision, the scholarship recipient do not have a say in this.
  13. Sounds like a great idea. Although I don't know how much negotiating I will get to do, but more information is always empowering. Let me know how can we do it.
