  1. I got invited to Illinois State University's Ed.S interview on Feb. 19th. Looks like interviews are gonna be an all day affair, so I'm a little nervous about that. Anyone else get an invitation?
  2. I’m getting a little worried because two of the schools I applied to have not received my GRE scores yet and the deadline just passed (Jan. 1). I put in the order for the scores to be sent about 2 weeks ago. How long does it normally take for schools to receive the scores? Should I be worried about this?
  3. I've been needing to start working on my applications, but every time I think about it, I get stressed out. I applied last year, so I have some materials to work from. My problem right now is my statement of purpose. The one I wrote last year is decent, but there is a lot of room for improvement. I always find it difficult to write about myself, so I think that's my main issue. A few of the schools I'm applying to also require a writing sample and I have no idea what to submit for that. I'll be glad when this whole process is over.
  4. Hello everyone! I'm slowly beginning to work on my applications and they're already stressing me out. These are the schools I'm planning to apply to (all EdS): Michigan State University Grand Valley State University Ball State University Indiana State University Easter Illinois University Illinois State University Western Carolina University Francis Marion University Winthrop University
  5. I'm apply to GVSU and Wayne State. Haven't heard anything from GVSU yet, but Wayne State invited me for an interview next month. Obviously I'm very excited about the interview, but I'm also a bit confused. My application for Wayne State is half finished and right now they only have my transcripts, GRE, and letters of recommendation, but they still called to set up an interview. Is this something that happens often? The application deadline isn't for another two weeks.
