Hi Riel, Read your message just now. Yes, i will keep in touch with you once i got the scholarship, finger-crossed. I wonder if during your time, you two, were the only applicants in PH? Cause in 2018 DAAD report, there were about 14 applicants for PhD from Pinas who got the scholarship. And yes, we don't have interview. I don't know why. You had yours? Who interviewed you back then? Also, i'm quite concern with the corona outbreak, is everything fine in Germany? I mean, provided we got the scholarship are we allowed to go to our target university? Many thanks, Wilbert

Does anyone here have the same problem as mine? I can't open my DAAD portal for 2 days in a row already. Don't know what is happening.

Is everyone also concern that the results might be affected by the health risks cause by COVID-19? They might turn down qualified applicants situated in highly affected countries. Just my thought right now... Wilbert

i have messaged DAAD about the results for PhD Research Grant in Germany 20/21 (Asia Pacific Countries) and here is the response. We'll probably wait a bit longer then. Patience, patience and patience to everyone. be focusing on other things instead to divert my attention lets just hope for the best! Wilbert

Hi Simo and Fernd, first of all congratulations! so this means that there's already a result for PhD Research Grant. i have not received any result nor changes in the portal as what others in this thread was claiming. I'm becoming hopeless day by day but have to continue having a positive outlook towards this whole thing. cheers to everyone who are still patiently waiting

Which country are you from? base on last year's thread, if your funding date changed, then you have higher chances of getting the award. Congrats in advance Wilbert

Hi Nasi, we are at the same strand (PhD Research Grant). Results will be out end of February or beginning of March according to my DAAD representative. Can't wait as well. All the best, Wilbert

Hi Rawan, Since there are more applicants in the master program, i think you'll get your result a little bit later than the PhD's. However, this is strand base - that means the field course you are applying for and your country of origin matters. Where are you from? Best of luck, Wilbert
