I scheduled an interview with my target program, but was never called for it. Even though I followed up after waiting a few weeks, I haven't heard from them. It's been a month since I've heard anything. Can I assume I've been rejected?

Yes, very awkward. I don't understand why they would do that. I could contact another professor or the department administration, but is that really a good idea?

Is it a bad sign that my target program states that they accept people in early March, but I have not had my interview yet? I was offered an interview in early February, but they never called me or responded to my email.

Do you think it is bad to email if I didn't get a response on the last two? They said they wanted to interview me 2 weeks ago. Or should I email someone else?

Last week, someone from a program sent me an email to set up a phone interview. They asked me to reply with some times that worked for them, which I did. They never called, and they also did not respond when I followed up. I don't think I said anything too weird in my emails, so are they just busy? Or have they lost interest? How common is this? I feel like they must be interested, since they wanted to interview me. Should I try contacting them again?
