I've gotten in to several MA programs and I am planning on going to visit the campuses over my spring break. These are not accepted student events and there won't be any sort of interaction with faculty - it's just a campus tour/general information thing that they offer year round. Is it weird if my mom tags along? Im happy to have her there, I just want to make sure it won't be super unusual.

No, there was no mention of it. Honestly, I didn't know that they even did that - I always hear about those for doctorate programs but I didn't think it was common practice for masters programs (but that might just be bc I'm in humanities and we don't really have to talk about lab experience)

Hey yeah that was me. I got an email a few hours ago saying to check the application portal, there was a new document uploaded that said I had been accepted and detailing the financial support they would be able to offer me. I applied Public/Admin track so that probably requires less decision than the more research based tracks that it seems like the rest of the people in this forum applied to. I'll be declining since I got into my top choice, but it was a nice acceptance letter. Lmk if you have any other questions.

Got into Pratt yesterday! It was my top choice and im super stoked about it (still going to wait to hear back from my other schools in case someone else gives me a crazy scholarship but I'm pretty much decided)

I've also applied to Boulder's Museum and Field Studies in the Public/Administration track, as well as Pratt, NYU, and Tufts. Pratt is my top choice, but I don't think I have much of a chance since I don't really have a tech background. Admitted to Tufts (yay!). Obviously I'd be thrilled to attend any of those schools, they're all such exciting programs with so much to offer.
