UM WHAT IS YOUR SECRET TO ALL THOSE ADMITS?!

That’s literally where I’m at rn. I called Iowa, and they said letters would be going out this week (to be received by Wednesday / Thursday). That sounded like rejection letters lol. I’ve gotten one in the past. As for UCI—I’m flipping my lid trying to figure that out also. On the Results page of this website, it looks like someone already got a call last Thursday, so who knows if they already contacted the next year’s cohort. ?

I was admitted, and all they offered was $7500 over three years HA. Tuition is about $20k. I say ask to clarify just in case, but no MFA is worth paying a crazy amount for.

Also was admitted! Congrats! Do you understand the funding breakdown? I’m a little confused where to find the letter.

I am DYING to know whether UCI’s Program in Writing has notified the next cohort if they’ve been accepted. Has anyone heard back? Should I just assume I didn’t make the cut?
