OH I'm sorry I didn't realize they missed some courses! I thought you were referring to the fluctuation of GPA on the different scales.

Hi, my university uses a 12 point scale so mine went down when it got converted on ORPAS as well. How did you get it corrected? I thought everyones GPA just shifted when they converted it to the 4.0 scale. Western, McGill and Alberta use the 4.0 scale too but for McGill and Alberta A+ and A both convert to 4.0 and Dal is on a 4.3 scale.

Does anyone else's emails from Dal have a student number in it? I cant figure out if the one I received is equivalent since it didn't say that my application was considered complete and being passed on for review but it did say thank you for your application heres your student number.

I havent received the email everyone is talking about either, what is the first letter of your last name? I think that they are working their way through applicants alphabetically, my friend whose last name starts with L got the email yesterday. I am also curious as to who how many applications have been sent compared to past years but i dont know the answer!

Hi! I received an email from Dal last week as well, did your email explicitly say that your application was sent for review? I got an email saying that they received my application & they gave me a Dal student number but it didnt say that my application was complete or that they were reviewing it. Goodluck!

I received the email January 28 but I only know 2 other girls who got the email that day. You must be right, they must be slowly starting to send them out. It's just odd because apparently they didn't hear anything from Dal last year until they got accepted/declined last year so I was shocked to hear from them and I found it even weirder that only a few people got it. Maybe they're sending the emails once they've gathered everyones information? It must be quite a mess there with some aspects of the application being online & others being sent by mail. Especially since this is the first time they have accepted some things online. Unfortunately none of my documents have been updated on their portal to confirm that they have received them but I've heard this sometimes doesn't happen until mid march.

I know most schools that I applied to did the same but some of my friends have not gotten any word from Dal yet, and I know last year people didn't hear anything until March-April. So I was just wondering how many of you received the same email? Is it a good thing? Looking forward to hearing from you!
