whoa your stats are completely different from mine! I’m sorry about that if Columbia was your first choice. I was no where near a 3.8 gpa. But I’ve done a lot of social service hours and have a non profit. I did go to UCLA and have done research but I literally am curious as to what they are looking for in applicants. I wonder if they look heavily at LORs and essays.

Why are you coming on here with an agenda to insult people? You don’t understand why people are applying to Columbia. You should look at the course catalogs of both schools to see what you’re interests are in the present! both schools are great depending on what you want for your future self. NYU is also a bragging rights name if someone ever asks. We all end up as social workers anyway.
