  1. For MSWwp it is in September and Winter. They have the regular MSW programs on campus as well. They have a spring start in May but it isn’t MSWwp, just the regular 1 year advanced MSW. I have an SSW diploma (Overall 82%) and my BSW (Overall A-). Both of my stats marks were A. I applied during my final year of school. I worked in developmental services for four years at the time of my application. I also worked part time for Best Buddies at my college. My placements were at city housing for seniors, a high school for teens with intellectual disabilities and an immigration agency. I think my personal statement was a big selling point. I spoke strongly about my passion for social work, my lived experience of overcoming challenges and how that relates to my professional goals & the program’s philosophy. I hope this helps Remember it is rolling admission so first come, first served. I was waitlisted for the September start because the seats were already full. So I highly recommend applying as early as possible!
  2. Sorry I made a mistake in my post. I was actually waitlisted for September 2021, but they offered to have me apply for Winter 2022 instead. I responded asking if I can make adjustments to my application since I started working at a new job but I was told that my application was already reviewed. So I decided against making changes. Shortly after, I was offered admission for Winter 2022. Im not sure how common it is but I also applied very early so that’s possibly why! Good luck, you should hear soon. My friend applied right on the deadline for Windsor’s Winter 2022 MSWwp and she was contacted the day after about her transcripts. So hers is already being reviewed! Don’t hesitate to message me when you do get accepted so we can talk about school
  3. I applied end of March and i got accepted in May for the September 2021 start. I got an email asking if I would apply for winter 2022 instead so I agreed and I was given admission!
  4. Anyone going into the MSWwp at UWindsor - has anyone noticed the working professionals program is now strictly online? I’m feeling mixed about it! On one hand I was excited about going back on campus for school, but on the other the convenience is nice. When I applied, it wasn’t known as an online program! But the fulltime MSW programs are on campus. I wished we had an option to pick!
  5. I got accepted for the MSW Advanced Standing Program for Working Professionals at University of Windsor (Peel Region) for the Winter 2022 Start! I was waitlisted for the September 2021 entry, and I chose their alternate option to be considered for the Winter term. I'm so glad I did! I just started a new full-time job and I will be able to work while attending school! I am so very excited. ?
  6. Hi everyone! I received the waitlist offer for the advanced standing at Windsor - Peel region. I chose to have my application be considered for the Winter 2022 term. I am waitlisted at University of Toronto and I am rejected at Laurier. I will be starting a new full-time position soon, so I am not too bummed out since it is my first time applying and this year has been super rough for me. Good luck to everyone still waiting and CONGRATULATIONS to everyone that has received an offer! And sending my biggest hopes for future opportunities to the ones that have received a rejection. Just remember one door closes but another door opens! ?
  7. This one is for the advanced standing! I hope they let me know soon. It sucks not knowing! Did you get an email that you were waitlisted and when did you receive it?
  8. Hey I haven’t received a decision on eGas or through email! My eGas still says “in process” since the day I submitted my application. I thought I would’ve heard within a week, like everyone else has on this forum. I’m assuming I’ll hear by the end of May.
  9. Me too. My date still hasn't changed so I'm wondering if I'm in the last admission cycle.
  10. Still waiting to hear from Windsor! Been checking everyday for the past 2 weeks. In March, people said they heard within a week. My process date hasn't changed. Soo anxious! I also received an offer for a job interview for a full time position.. so I have no idea what the future is looking like for me. It's been weird graduating during a pandemic.
  11. I read somewhere that it means it could be transferred to another department for review. I have no idea. My status change date is still the same. ? I need to know so I can move on with my life. ?
  12. So, I need some insight! I applied at Windsor's MSW Working Professionals for Advanced Standing. On March 26th, my status change changed to "in process." I checked again today and.. my application is blank. It says no new rows found. What does this mean? ? No emails for a decision yet.
  13. I'm waitlisted from UofT (Advanced Standing). I'm not too bummed because it was my first time applying. I'm also surprised because my personal statement wasn't the best with the crazy times we live in ?. Good luck everyone!
  14. Hi everyone! I have been an avid lurker of this forum for a few years and now it is finally my time to apply! I am a BSW student in my last year of school and I hold a Social Service Worker diploma. I am looking to apply to University of Toronto, Ryerson University and UBC for the Advanced Standing MSW. My overall GPA (so far) is an A-, an A+ in my qualitative research course and an A in my quanitative research course. I have three years experience working with individuals with disabilities in both respite and residential services. I have also helped developed the Best Buddies program at my college and was in charge of fundraising, volunteer recruitment, information sessions, marketing and orientations. l have a year experience working with children and youth with behavioural challenges in group homes and a program at school. I also have some volunteer experience with the elderly. I am a little anxious if I have enough experience or if it is diverse enough. But my fingers are crossed. I think everyone's experience and education is so impressive, I wish everyone the best this application season! It's my first time applying and I am super nervous about it. Feel free to message me if anyone wants to talk.
