ps. That's why I'm 90% sure that the Stanford psychology admit posted on the result page is fake

NGG replied to me yesterday that they are still reviewing applications and hope to send out all invites by mid-Jan

I'm feeling kinda numb by this stage since I haven't received ANYTHING from any program I applied to ? I feel that neuroscience programs make earlier decisions than psychology programs which is what I'm primarily applying to

Ah, I see! I don’t know much about the Psych programs, but if they haven’t sent out invites yet then don’t worry yet!

UPenn NGG now says they’re still reviewing apps and they expect all invites to be sent by late January

My boyfriend applied to Dartmouth PBS and his POI said (last week) that he would recommend my boyfriend to the admission committee, and the recruitment weekend is at the end of Jan. That means they haven't sent out the interview invitations.

I saw from a Reddit thread from someone on an admissions committee said that even if someone has a ton of credentials, it's all about the fit and lab availability, so chances are, it's more so that rather than anything else.
    (Sorry for the long comment)

Just got an email from UPenn NGG, they don't expect all invitations to interview to be sent out until mid-January. Take that as you will.

The December 1st closing date for many programs is fast approaching! I know I was in a tizzy the whole last week myself last year, waiting for LORs and holding myself back from throwing away existing SOPs and writing whole new ones. So I just want to let this year's applicants know - you got this.  You have done all the prep work you can. You've written and rewritten, edited and edited and then edited some more.  If you still need to upload a CV or SOP, it's time. Hit submit and breathe. Then take the week and enjoy life, because soon it will be time for hard core interview prep, since some schools start interviews as soon as the 3rd and 4th week of December!
    Good luck all!
