Congrats! Have you heard anything from UConn?

I applied to this program as well. Haven't heard anything. I did get a fully funded offer from UConn Comms program. There were Professors in both departments that could support my interests, so I went for it. Crossing my fingers for us all!

How are people ranking schools on here? I see a lot of talk about Top 50, Top 10 etc.... Are you all ranking them based on Undergrad ranking? I’m very curious. thanks

Upload a new document in your portal for Yale. It states that whatever you upload will override the previous copy. At the bottom of the page you can choose to upload "supplementary documents". I'd write something up and put it there. Good luck.

In 2019 they announced on Feb 08th and 09th. In 2020 they announced on Feb 21st. So I'd assume it should be soon. I agree with this whole heartedly. I currently make A LOT more than I will ever make as a Professor. But I’m not happy doing what I’ve done for the past decade or more.

I got a big old fat rejection from Boston College. It was a generic email to check the portal.

Noticed someone post on the results page about UPenn. In case they are on this forum, I looked and historically it doesn't look like UPenn does interviews. I only saw one interview listed. Also, one of my LOR writers received a thank you note from UPenn letting them know they would have their decisions in February. No timeframe listed. Good luck

If this is true, it's not okay in my book. People spend their hard earned money paying for these applications. If they know they're not accepting anyone for a particular field, they should state that.

Nope... Yeah... I was one of the unlucky. Oh well, Im looking at it like the universe is making space for the right program, so my choice won't be as difficult in the end. Glass half full, ya know? ?
