Have offers gone out for that stream???

I'm graduating this upcoming June so I'm a new grad. BSc in neuroscience with a GPA of around 3.3-3.5 (low uggh) in last two years. I've been volunteering at a local hospital within several departments for about 6 years now (work isn't directly related to public health unfortunately). I started volunteering/working at the covid clinics since December but wasn't able to include this in my CV cause I had already handed in a few of my applications. Have also volunteered at an organization that works with children who have learning disabilities, and volunteered at my uni's med science lab where I worked with lab animals. In terms of work experience, I've just done an internship with a federal agency for 8 months as a lab tech. I have taken 3 stats courses with 90+ in all, so I'm really hoping this will serve as an advantage for my UofT and UofOttawa applications.

I haven't heard anything from ottawa yet. I believe, the MSc program in Epi had an earlier deadline which is why they are getting offers right now. MPH applicants will probably still have to wait a few more weeks.

On their website it says "Nearly all of our successful candidates possess A’s in their final two undergraduate years." So I think you should be ok in terms of grades

I'm still waiting on McGill as well. I'm pretty sure I'm rejected unless some miracle happens. But congrats on SFU!

Unfortunately that's what my thoughts are on my application as well. But lets wait and see. Hopefully we get accepted somewhere else, if not SFU.

I'm in the same boat. I did email SFU and they said "Applicants will be contacted by email by the end of March regarding their admission status." Is anyone aware of whether SFU/Alberta/McGill have sent out rejections?

For those who have received an offer from SFU, is there a deadline they've given to accept the offer? Just wondering about when they will send a second round of offers if they do.

Hey mine doesn't say that, but you may wanna check BearTracks. I know they updated it and its confusing to navigate, but the previous BearTracks showed the status of your application as well. If not, then it'd be best to email the department and ask about it.

On Western's website under "Application process" it mentions that offers are anticipated to go out mid-April. This wait period is torture ?

I applied for Health Policy and Management and it looks like acceptances have already gone out for this stream as well. I think i'm gonna rule myself out but I think you should still stay hopeful since health promotion offers went out just recently!
