I just got accepted into BU as well! Did anyone get any scholarship money from them? They only offered me loans.

I just got into Boston University! They sent me an email directly and I didn't have to check my portal. They're one of my top schools but they didn't give me any scholarships ?

Thank you! Congrats to you too! I just spoke with the admissions counselor. I asked him some questions regarding the program and financial aid. So the full financial aid package will not be generated until June. I was able to get an extension to March 18th and he said I can email him if I needed more time after that!

Has anyone successfully received a decision deadline extension from USC, and for how long? I was accepted last week, but was surprised by the 2 week turnaround. Still waiting on several programs. I've emailed for an extension and haven't heard back.
I was accepted last week on Thursday and emailed them that night asking for an extension and haven't heard back either but I'm meeting with an admissions counselor today so I'll see what happens.

Has anyone who applied for Columbia or Boston University for the priority deadlines heard back recently? I applied to Columbia on 12/1 and they're taking a lot longer than expected. BU says by end of Feb but I'm hoping it's sooner than that.

I just received my acceptance to University of Southern California! Did anyone else receive acceptance to USC? They didn't say anything about scholarships or financial aid package in the email. They're only giving me 2 weeks to make my decision and I don't think I'll hear from the rest of my schools by then.

I applied to: UCLA, UC BERKELEY, CSULA, CSULB, CSUF and UPENN.
I have an interview for UPenn on February 9, so hoping that goes well!
But has anyone heard back from any of the schools? Some of my friends who got accepted into CSULB last year said they didn't hear back from mid-February so I know it's still early, but I hate the waiting game ?
Also, CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHO GOT INTO A GRAD PROGRAM! I enjoyed reading many of the posts before!
I applied to UCLA as well! Did you ever receive a confirmation email from them saying that your application is complete and going to be sent for review? I received an email right after I submitted the app but nothing after regarding the completion of my application and they haven’t been replying to emails.

I got my acceptance to NYU this morning! It's my dream school but tuition and cost of living is so expensive. Does anyone know when they send financial aid packages? I got 12k scholarship as well.
Also, do we send our official transcripts now or after we accept the offer? The email says 8 weeks to accept/decline. I'm still waiting on 6 other schools, did anyone request an extension and for how long?

I applied to Columbia 12/1 as well! I think it'll be a few more weeks before we hear back. I applied to NYU 12/28 and haven't heard back, but some people on here applied after us and got accepted. I'm really hoping this doesn't mean rejection. I thought I would hear from NYU this week but nothing so far.

I wouldn't be too worried, after reading through forum's from past years it seems like its a mixed bag on when admissions decisions are sent out. I totally feel your eagerness though, but try not to stress, I'm sure you'll hear back this week. Also, for what it's worth, I know a lot of admissions offices were closed during the holidays, so I'm sure applications sent in between Dec 23- Jan 4 are lumped in with the batch sent in early Jan. Thanks for the encouragement! Around what time did you get an email saying there was an update to your portal? I've been checking my portal like crazy so trying to figure out the time frame lol. NYU's one of my top choices!

That’s what I’ve been hearing! When did you apply to NYU if you don’t mind sharing? I submitted my app on 12/28 and got the email that it was complete on 1/5 but have yet to hear back :( So nervous since people accepted are hearing back already.

@sonalikm @Elizabeth Boylan Congrats on getting accepted into Columbia! If you don't mind sharing, when did you guys submit your applications? I submitted mine on December 1st and still waiting to hear back so I'm wondering about the timeline.

Yes! I only applied to MSW programs (7 total). Haven't heard back from any yet, it's still early so I'm trying not to freak out. I see that you applied to NYU's General Psych MA! I applied to NYU's MSW and I think they've started accepting people so kind of nervous.

Yes, super nervous! I sent in my application Nov 30th but my last letter didn't come in until Dec 1st! From previous years, it seems like they start rolling out acceptances mid Feb.

I am still waiting as well! The wait is so hard! From the other posts, it seems like people who applied back in November have heard back, but not the ones who applied on December 1st. When did you apply to Columbia?

Has anyone else heard from UCLA recently? I submitted my application Dec 15th but my last LOR wasn't submitted until Dec 20th and have yet to hear back.
