Hi! First off, congrats on your admission! I appealed the amount of aid I received and was given $1,000 more per year in my scholarship and $3,000 in work study funding. Not a lot, but enough to make the cost comparable to other programs where I was admitted. I did get in! I received my email at 8:15 MST. I wasn't expecting to hear so late either so was really taken by surprise when I saw the email. Hopefully you both hear back soon with good news!

Same, I'm anxiously waiting to hear from UChicago so I was wondering the same thing! They said that if you applied by December 1 they'll get back to you before Feb 15, so I'm hoping we should hear back soon.

Congrats to both of you! I also received my letter of acceptance to Columbia last week! Is anyone else a bit stressed about the time frame they gave to respond? They asked me to respond by Feb 16, and I I feel like I won't have heard back from the other schools I'm waiting on by then. Also, on their website it says they only get info from FAFSA for financial aid packages on Feb 15, so am I misunderstanding something? Congrats again!
