Thank you, @FreeZapata! Yes, at this point, I am sure they must have seen my application. If they hadn’t, I assume, they would have put up a notice about needing more time to review applications. Anyhow, only a few days to go. Whatever is to happen will happen and I shall know what to do next.

So am I the only one who is still stuck with an “incomplete”? I doubt it is going to change now! ?

I did not get invited for an interview so I don’t know where I stand. My SoP covered my journey till this point in my life which is essentially the reason why I have applied to SGSE and what I want to accomplish in the future.

There is a saying in my culture about karma and dharma. Something like we must do what we have to do without worrying about the result. This seemed like nonsense from successful people (words from a God’s reincarnation on Earth) to me before I entered this application cycle. I have done what I could do. Now things are out of my hand. Many factors influence the decision and my merit is not the only consideration. So, I will wait for now. Knowing that many good people like yourself are my companions on this journey has been soothing.

I also read this before I wrote my SoP. It was very helpful as most of the SoP samples or suggestions we get to see focus on accomplishments.

2-5 days max from what I hear! I think I have attained enlightenment after weeks of tossing and turning. Anymore and I will attain sagehood.

I have no publications. I used to work in the k-12 publishing industry which made me a witness to the realities and struggles of education in developing countries. That’s why I decided to do another Master’s, this time in education. I had only 1 normal semester when COVID hit. And now I am here.

History, English, and Classics results sent out today. The results page is full of rejection reports. So sad!

You are such a charming person! I went awww so many times while reading this. I understand what you are going through! I am in America right now alone and although my closest friends and closest family members know about my Stanford dream, they are not around to help me get through this phase. I also got a few reactions of surprise when I applied but then I told them, "Yes, okay, it is an unrealistic dream so get started and pray to your Gods to make this miracle happen!" I don't pray so I got all of them to pray to cover all my bases. So what if the dream seems unrealistic? What's the point of realistic dreams? They can just be your to-do lists. I will dream whatever I want. From our interactions here, I can tell what a nice person you are and I am going to get behind you and support your dreams. Let's stay in touch no matter what happens. You dream your dream and then dream some more.

I know I can only wait and many here have been comforting but it is frustrating.

I see a happy green submitted but in the checklist awaits a dull grey/gray incomplete.

I am almost always here because compared to my application status this site has new posts. I think I have stared a hole into the Stanford applyweb page.

I didn’t submit GRE and TOEFL and mine says not applicable, which is okay. I mailed them to confirm that my application is fine even with the incomplete status, and got a standard reply about my mail being deleted if it covers something mentioned in FAQ. Ha! ha! I think they are swamped right now and have no time to check mails.

I am happy for you! I also applied to CTE: literacy but my application status is still incomplete so I am meditating in the dark. ?

Who is holding up?

There are around a dozen Stanford results posted everyday but GSE seems to be peculiarly silent. So unnerving!
