  1. I believe he applied to MSFS. I think early or mid-March is very realistic though
  2. I wonder if MSFS admissions would be released last since it's the biggest program, but honestly I have no clue. Hopefully we all get good news soon
  3. I think he applied to MSFS, but I'm not sure. I know the GHD program sent out decisions on Feb 23 last year.
  4. I'm on an admitted students page for another university and someone on there mentioned that Georgetown results were being released this week...not sure where they heard that but I hope it's true
  5. Program Applied To (MPA, MPP, IR, etc.): MA/MPA International Development Schools Applied To: Georgetown GHD, GWU Elliott, American SIS, Fordham IPED, Columbia SIPA Schools Admitted To: American SIS Schools Rejected From: N/A Still Waiting: Georgetown GHD, GWU Elliott, Fordham IPED, Columbia SIPA Undergraduate Institution: Top 100 mid-sized liberal arts school in the midwest Undergraduate GPA: 3.83 Undergraduate Major: Global and International Studies & Political Science GRE Quantitative/Verbal/AW Scores: 160/159/4.0 Years Out of Undergrad (if applicable): 3 Years of Work Experience: 3 Describe Relevant Work Experience: Two years internationally post-grad with an organization similar to Peace Corps, internship with a prominent DC think tank, currently working for a major humanitarian aid organization. Strength of SOP (be honest, describe the process, etc): Not the most ground-breaking probably, but I drew upon and connected my different international experiences and how those shaped my interests and what I want to do in the future. Made it personal. Gave specific examples of what I want to do post-grad. Strength of LOR's (be honest, describe the process, etc): Pretty generic one from a professor, two from supervisors while I was working abroad that I think are pretty strong. Other: Lots of contact with GHD, SIS, and SIPA (info sessions, chatted with current students/alumni, went to online classes/open houses). Did the bare minimum in terms of connecting with Elliott and IPED honestly (just went to online info sessions about the schools).
  6. Anyone else waiting it out for IPED decisions?
  7. I had to do it twice because my first one didn't get uploaded to the system for whatever reason ? but my questions were: 1. How has the volatile global climate impacted your life? 2. Are friends from your hometown informed about public policy issues? Why or why not? (It was something along these lines, probably not the exact wording) Wouldn't say I hit it out of the park on either, just kind of rambled.
  8. @goodvibesonly I bet they say mid-March just to be safe! But I feel pretty confident it'll be late next week or early the following week.
  9. I applied to the IDS program but someone in admissions told me decisions would be out by mid-March. Looks like last year they released them late February so hopefully it'll be the same this year?!
  10. @Panda27 Glad it's not just me! When I asked my interviewer they just said March (I don't think they really knew). I've been looking at the results page on here though and in 2020 it looks like they sent out admissions on Feb 23! I bet we'll hear by the first week of March at the latest.
  11. I applied to GHD and had an interview last week with a current student. Eagerly awaiting a response now....
