Haven’t posted in a while but thought I would share that I declined my Penn, Columbia & BC offers and have accepted my UChicago offer. I received the most scholarship from them and think it’s the best program fit. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear or get off waitlists! Loved how supportive this forum was through this process!

I don’t have a solid answer to this because I for some reason can’t shake caring about some kind of ranking/prestige and I’ve just used US rankings for that. But I also just wanted to share as a Macro applicant that I’ve based this for myself largely on how clinical/macro focused a program seems as most seem to be more clinical. I’ve tried to gauge by looking through faculty directories (for focuses & topics I’m interested in), required & optional course descriptions, field placement options, and some student accounts. Not sure if this helps at all!

Still waiting I applied 12/1. I know those on here heard it would be another week or two but it leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth that they didn’t communicate to all applicants that they need more time. I don’t love that they promised a decision by March 1 and then let that date pass without any update. Anyone feel similarly?

Hi there! For those of you who have heard back from Columbia, did they include scholarship information in the letter? Or did that come later? I’m supposed to tell BC yes or no by March 1 and want to make sure I have everything I need from Columbia by then to decide (if I hopefully get in!)
