  1. I got off the U of T advanced standing (mental health and health) waitlist today!! Was not expecting to hear this far into the summer so there might be some movement for those still waiting!
  2. I've seen some people have gotten acceptances off the waitlist for the 2 year MSW at U of T - I'm just wondering if anyone has gotten off the waitlist for the Advanced Standing program at U of T yet?
  3. has anyone on the advanced standing waitlist for U of T heard anything? I know their waitlist is huge so I'm trying to not hold onto any hope but it's impossible aha
  4. I'm wondering if anyone has insight into how the U of T Advanced Standing Wait-List works? It said on my letter that the list isn't ranked, which makes me wonder how they choose who gets admitted? I was waitlisted last year and it seems like from reading these forums in past years that it is quite rare to get in off the waitlist ?
  5. Had your acorn changed to 'invited' before getting the SGS update?
  6. My SGS still says "under review" and I haven't gotten an email or anything - anyone else in the same position?
  7. Congrats on getting in! This is my second year applying to u of t advanced standing mental health and health stream and it is looking as if I'm not getting in, I am wondering what you have done to enhance your application this year if you don't mind sharing? Dreading reapplying and going through all of this again aha
  8. Does anyone know in years past if the 'invited' on acorn happens for everyone who is admitted? I'm taking not having mine changed as a rejection but I'm not sure if it's a sure thing
  9. I hate that they call lol I would prefer for everyone to just get an acceptance/waitlist/rejection notice on the same day. I'm wondering at what point they inform the applicants who didn't get in and if that's via email, or mail. The anticipation is too much!
  10. Last year I applied to u of t and was waitlisted, I got the letter saying that on March 3, 2020, so hopefully we hear back this week!
  11. Ok this makes me feel slightly more hopeful - thank you!! I only applied to Ryerson and U of T so that's good to hear we should be getting news soon. Congrats on your acceptances!
  12. I'm seeing people have gotten calls from Ryerson today and I haven't gotten one so I'm assuming I didn't get in for anyone who has been in a similar situation with Ryerson, do you know how they communicate if you are on a waitlist or have been rejected? (i.e. email, mail, etc.). Sending good energy to everyone during this brutal waiting period!
