  1. Got my official rejection as well. What a ride. Good luck to all of you.
  2. Last name starts with S and haven't got an official rejection yet. Ugh.
  3. I emailed Todd, todd.will@utoronto.ca, who's the program coordinator. This is what he said: I’ve inquired about the status of your application and can report, unofficially, that your application to the MEd program will be recommended for refusal. Unfortunately, with 702 applications for 35 spots this year, there is not enough spaces to accommodate all strong applicants. I'm told you should receive the official application response via email very soon. From a previous email I had sent, I had received this response: a decision has not yet been reached regarding your application, and that's why you have not been notified yet. As of now, my application still says "Under review". Sooooo yeah, idk lol. They're playing all of us.
  4. I've been unofficially rejected as well, folks! Good luck to everyone in their future endeavours.
  5. Has anyone gotten anything official yet? I don't want to email Todd to ask him and my application still says under review. ?
  6. I also want folks to know that I highly recommend the Addictions & Mental Health program at Humber. I did it back in 2019 and it honestly changed my life and I was able to land a job during the program at a youth mental health agency that I've been working at for almost 2 years. If anyone has any questions about it, feel free to ask. ?
  7. Hi friends. Sorry to those who received an unofficial rejection. I currently haven't gotten any updates yet and I'm not about to email Todd so I'm just going to wait and see. I have friends who have gotten late acceptances for other programs at UofT this year, and apparently UofT sends out late acceptances a lot. ? Honestly, whooooo knows??? Those floating in the unknowing abyss with me, I salute you. Lets see what happens. And those who already know, I wish you all the best with your future endeavours.
  8. Not sure at all about any of this. But according to their requirements they look at the final year and when applying they specifically asked for the last year.
  9. Just saw that! I'm wondering if it's the clinical psych program? Cause someone shared their rejection they got on the 6th and they also listed it as counselling psychology.
  10. Mine has said under review since November. I feel like maybe they haven't look at it yet? Someone mentioned the last names theory (Going alphabetical order) on here and mine starts with "S" so maybe that's how they're viewing them.
  11. WOW, thank you for providing this update. It really seems like they're swamped, I guess. And it also sounds like there may be some acceptances still coming. What a wiiiiiild time, yall!
  12. Can't add any more reactions (lol) but I'm here with you all and experiencing similar frustrations, confusions, and disappointments.❤️ I feel like that fact that my life overall is super sucky rn isn't helping this waiting game either. I'd really love to get into this program (even tho UofT is super sus to me now) so I have something meaningful to do in the next two years; somewhere I can lie my focus as life passes by. But it's probably not happening and I'm feeling more lost than ever. This sucks for me and for all of you and I'd like to give you all a collective virtual hug. It will be over soon and then we'll know how to continue. ? Thanks for being a cool supportive network throughout this process. ?
  13. I don't think that's how it works, however I can't confirm anything. I think this means DPE reached out to you first. Counselling Psych has been super slow and you still have a chance.
