  1. I literally forgot about this program and my application still says Under Review.
  2. LOL McGill MA Internship program rejected me. Quite surprised and disappointed to get rejected by my home university (even tho it's not my first option). Good luck to everyone else! And congrats to those got in!!!
  3. I heard students received a generic email saying that school is trying their best to bring back more on-campus activities and courses. Deliveries in specific department or of specific courses still TBD. But mostly in-person courses will also be accessible online.
  4. I already accepted another school and I doubt I'd switch. It's just frustrating to have this prolonged waiting period
  5. ANOTHER TWO WEEKS?? So we should expect to hear back around the end of April? I'm rejecting UofT at this point.
  6. Hi, Congrats!! I'm so happy for you! I went to McGill for undergrad and if I were you I would prefer McGill MA project stream > UofT MEd > McGill MA Internship. McGill is very strong in academic research and they will overprepare you for PhD. Housing expenses and tuition fee are much lower in McGill and Montreal. The only thing I would be aware of is bilingualism. I don't speak French fluently enough to be bilingual and it was comparably hard to find non-bilingual opportunities in counselling related volunteer or jobs. As other posts mentioned, MA would leave a lot more doors open comparing to MEd. I heard some average-ish comments about McGill Internship program, I personally would prefer UT MEd over McGill Internship.
  7. here goes another week. No results. I guess I will lower my expectation and try to check the portal down to once a week
  8. I believe those who applied for McGill counselling project stream all got their results. I've talked to some grad students in counselling psychology in McGill and apparently they have different application process for the two streams. Admission decisions for the project program come usually in mid February to early March (it could be later for those who didn't go to McGill for undergrad and didn't know their supervisors beforehand). Internship results usually come later in early April (these days).
  9. I applied to the McGill Internship stream as well and it says still in review as well.
  10. I applied to CP and psychotherapy in OISE. I emailed the APHD to push for a result 3 weeks ago because I had to make decision to another offer. I got a reply from Parnia Kahrizi within 48 hours, who basically copied the exact same paragraph from the website: (Notification of results are provided to applicants via the online admissions application. We start uploading letters in early March and continue into March, April, and sometimes later months. If you submit a complete application by November 16, you should receive a decision sometime in March. If you submit an application after November 16, decisions are available within three to six weeks of application submission, but no sooner than early March.Hope this answers your question.) It is indeed frustrating. UofT was my first choice and dream school but I accepted the other offer anyway. At this point I don't even want to go to UofT anymore. I just want to know my result. I'd happy take the rejection. I was just complaining to my friends how UofT asked for twice as much of application fee but is the slowest to hear back. (McGill hasn't got back to me either but at least they explicitly stated that we would hear back in April). Anyway, I'm done complaining. Good luck to everyone.
  11. didn't hear any either. y'all def not alone. I literally check every time during my break. I try to check it less often and hopelessness is the key. I used to check like 10 times a day so it def has gone down 67% lol. Best of luck to everyone.
