Just got rejected from UBC MPH. Will be accepting the offer from SFU MPH! Looking forward to meeting some of you in September! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back!

Hey, I haven't heard back from UBC MPH regarding acceptance/rejection yet. Obviously I'm sure each school's process is a bit different, but I have a feeling hearing later might mean you're a second or third round pick or higher up on the waitlist and they're waiting to see how all the spots are filling up with the applicants they've already sent acceptance letters to. They don't want to have to send out too many emails and increase the work load for their administrative staff. Just a thought! Good luck!

Just got into SFU's MPH program today today too! Still waiting to hear back from UBC. Fingers crossed for everyone who is waiting to hear. Also my stats weren't crazy high - I had a 78% average for SFU's application (last 2 years of study), 1.5 years work experience in public health non-profit as an admin, and volunteering when I could make time (due to a chronic health condition). So really don't count yourself short!
