    Chatham actually has a pedagogy track. I spoke to one of the current students, and he's taking up those modules. But it's a mostly unfunded program.

    Got my rejection from Notre Dame today - but on the plus side, I finally got my funding info for NMSU! I got one of their three GA/TAships. I'll know more details when they issue my offer letter. I'm going to New Mexico folks!

    My application in Iowa state changed from Under Review by Graduate Department to Under Review ? Does that mean anything? Waitlists have gone out - and I thiiiiink I saw a fiction acceptance too - so can I safely cross this out as well?

    I spoke to a current student of Iowa State before I applied there - and she told me she primarily writes fantasy. So that could realistically be an option.     I got a rejection from Houston when checking Applyweb, and for sure Florida is out too - since I didn't make the waitlist. On the other hand I did get a TAship from Chatham but it's a remission of 9k/year - which still leaves the question of where the other 42k is gonna come from. I'm probably going to be declining. With the rate of exchange, its 76 times of whatever I have to save up/pay off in dollars - seriously not doable. I'd initially interviewed for a position with a full tuition waiver, but I guess they already had the TAship in mind instead. So fingers crossed that NMSU comes through
