Hi everyone! I received CGS-D prior to beginning my program and I have been accepted to a different program than what I anticipated when I was completing the application. I know the award is transferable, however, I have concerns over whether I’ll be able to do exactly what I proposed. My project will have to change slightly, although, I likely will be able to maintain some of the original variables I intended to measure, and my project will still fall under SSHRC criteria. I’m wondering if anyone has any insight into how SSHRC feels about this, or if it’s challenging to change your research. Thanks!

I received my results about an hour ago, and I was offered CGS-D! I'm still in disbelief and don't even have the words right now to articulate how I'm feeling!!! I was in committee 4, last name starts with C. Good luck everyone!! Regardless of the outcome, it is SO amazing to be considered for the national competition and make it this far!!

I just got an email like 30 seconds ago, lol. I'm in the first half of the alphabet and committee 4!

Nope! I'm in a discord group with other psychology students across Canada and it was posted there

I seen that someone called SSHRC and they told them it would be the 30th 😩 still will prob be refreshing my email all day lol

Hi! If you don't mind, was this for CD or adult clinical? This is my first time applying as well so I know how you feel. It can be discouraging but it's so great seeing many second+ time applicants getting interviews finally! Helps me remember that if I don't hear back, I just have more work to do to get where I need to go

Hi! I just joined this form as I've seen some that some schools have started sending out their decisions! I've applied to 4 schools, 2 PsyD programs, Acadia's M.A in Clinical Psychology, and York for their Master's in Clinical Psychology. I've seen the majority of people have applied to York on this form as well as other schools outside the Atlantic provinces! I'm wondering if anyone at York who's POI's initials were JW or MK can reach out to me in a DM if you're comfortable Otherwise, congratulations to all those who have received interviews!
