I'm sorry!! That's lame. I guess GRE scores really do play a pivotal role. Makes me wonder if I should have retaken it a bunch more times to get a higher Math score. I didn't apply to USC, but I did apply to UCLA for Urban Schooling too. I hope we hear soon! Do you have a master's? I don't, but I have 4+ years of research experience or so,,,,, basically this wait is driving me nuts! Good luck and I hope that the rest of your decisions are good ones!!

For Ed.D applicants who were interested in the possibility of being considered for an Ed.M as well, I received an email about a virtual info session to be held today. Due to the awful weather conditions, I just received another email saying this web session is now canceled. Anyone else get these emails about the web session for potential Ed.M consideration? Hi everyone! Did anyone get an email regarding an Ed. M web chat on Feb 1st? The email said something like "Potential Ed.M Consideration"- for those people who indicated they would like to be considered for an Ed.M on their Ed.D applications, please join us for a web meeting. I think it's just an automated email, probably sent out to everyone who checked the Ed.M box, but am not sure! Good luck everyone!!

I saw in the Results section that someone had posted an acceptance to an Education PhD program, but the program is not specified. If you're out there, CONGRATULATIONS! Which program did you get into?

Also, when I checked the Admissions website, it seemed to indicate that online application notifications are not enabled, which means that we'll receive paper letters. Does anyone else know if this is what we can expect? the waiting is making me a little nutty!!

I haven't heard from them yet, but I checked the results thread from last year, and it seems like folks began to hear around Feb 9th or so. Which program did you apply to? I applied to the PhD in Urban Schooling. Good luck all!

I checked their admissions blog. Thank you for posting about that. I didn't receive an invite to the PhD weekend either, however, I did fly out to meet with several professors in my department in the Fall...not that that means anything!! Oh well. Educ2011, which program did you apply to? Thank you for sharing that info! I applied to the Social and Cultural studies PhD program, and haven't heard anything yet either. I did speak with one of the Professors who is on the Admissions Comm though, and she seemed super nice- not that that means anything! I talked to her in October and she told me out right that she was on the Admissions Committee, which was a bit nerve racking! Good luck everyone!!!

I received one admissions decision notification email already (accepted!) and just wondered if anyone else has heard anything!? FYI, I was admitted to UC Santa Barbara!!!!! Hurrah! Thanks everyone!!

I already submitted my application, and just received an information packet today from HGSE Admissions. Has anyone else received one of these? It didn't come with a letter, just a brochure.
