Hi everyone! Following on behalf of my partner. He got his interview invite on 10 Feb. Questions were "How are you and HDS a good fit?" and "Why HDS"? And a third one that I'm forgetting. 15 minutes flew by!
What were your interviews/ers like? My partner is very humble and was quite nervous, and although he prepared thoroughly, he's worried that it may have had an impact. How positive a sign is it that he had an interview invite in the first place? He has applied for the HDS MDiv (international student).

Howdy all. Here's a podcast that you might find helpful. It's from the religion department at Baylor University, where I'm currently a PhD student. It gives insight into the application process, tips for writing strong applications, and tricks for getting through the process. Hopefully it's helpful!
Also, for whatever this is worth: When I was in the application cycle, this website was both a gift and a curse. If I had to do it again, I'd stay off of this website as much as possible (especially if you're looking for information on how to write applications to particular schools). Instead of lingering here, I'd reach out to my faculty of interest. If they confirmed an interest in working with me, I'd ask them (among other things) if they might provide contact details for a few current students. These students will give you a sense of the culture of the program, but may also be willing to share their application materials or at least some guidance.

Im glad HDS sent out that email. It confirms they will probably still be sending out more interviews.

I'm new to this, but I thought I'd share what's going on for me. I'm a big fan of information sharing whenever possible since we are real people who've got real lives to plan for-- spouses, kids, homes, cities, jobs, congregations etc-- real stuff that takes time to plan for! And since the schools aren't always great about treating us as such. 
So, I got a hard no from BC and PTS (very timely, thanks guys); interviewed with Emory, Duke ThD, Yale, and BU; am waitlisted at Duke PhD and Duke ThD, and have heard not a word from anyone else. 
Also, an encouragement: there will always be opportunities to read and teach and write, and even if this particular circus doesn't pan out, there are many good ways to be a nerd.

Thank you for clarifying. I am probably overthinking at this point.

Could be they evaluate when they will start interviewing depending on the total number of applicants.It could be that not much applied so they are more relaxed.
I am sending everyone the best.
I am an international student and the time difference does not allow me to attend their zooms all the time.
I am also quite humbled since I don’t think I would match with an American or western student accomplishments but I also believe each one of us have a gift to share and life does not stop on wether are we getting admitted or not.
 
yet again, may we use it for goodness and love.
