I've been working and I've been checking the results section every hour, if not more. At least my supervisors haven't noticed.

Has anyone heard from University of Colorado - Boulder MCDB? I find it strange that they had such an early deadline yet we haven't seen as much as an interview request yet. Please let me know if I'm mistaken.

Don't panic just yet! Deep breaths! Some of my husband's picks haven't sent out as much as a peep to anyone. I wish they'd hurry it up! Is it just me or does it seem like the bio departments are all taking this week off?

My husband had an interview with Penn State last week and has one with UC Davis in early March. So nervous!

I gave my husband similar criticism surrounding the first paragraph, but he was reassured by his peers that their essays (which used a similar theme) successfully earned them some acceptance letters. However, I'm inclined to agree with your take on the opening paragraph.

He's contributed to two papers, however the head researcher got scatterbrained and left him out of the acknowledgments for one of them. Bummer. I'm rooting for him, but I'm concerned that the quantitative scores will push him out of the running.

Biology. My apologies, I copied his stats from another post and forgot to include his field! I hope the additional information helps pinpoint his odds.

I'm freaking out on my husband's behalf! Imagine not even being able to write the essay that will decide where you'll be living for the next five years!

I'm trying to gauge my husband's chances on getting into his top grad school programs. Here are his stats. - GRE Scores (1270 Total) Verbal - 640, Quantitative - 630 - 3.81 GPA, graduated magna *** laude. - Worked for two summers as research assistant in lab under various professors. He's applying to programs at the following schools: - University of Washington - Tufts University - UC Davis - UC Berkeley - Penn State - University of Pennsylvania - Yale - UC San Diego - Carnegie Mellon - University of Connecticut - University of Colorado, Boulder Thoughts? Concerns? If you gained admission to any of these schools, would you mind sharing your stats to compare/contrast? I'm sure he'd be posting this himself, but the poor guy is working seven days a week and juggling last minute applications. Deepest thanks! Elizabeth
