Recently came from my first international conference. It was a great experience and received really good feedback. Yay me!! :-)

Just took my GRE in the Philippines, while there was ongoing construction in the building. Sigh.

done with my first year. That was much harder than I expected.

Finally the wait is over. Heard back from my last two schools yesterday, including my first rejection. Oh well, my decision has been made, and I couldn't be happier. Headed to Tennessee in the fall!

blah. I'm experiencing a pretty big case of impostor syndrome.

Officially mucked up my first grad-level Blackboard post. I definitely submitted my introduction thread three times.

my POIs seem more and more awesome the more i read their work. that's a good sign.

OK. so what about the professor who sends me a form response to an e-mail in which I asked him about research opportunities?

first day of class and i'm already overwhelmed

Finally in the US!

Defending my Master's thesis in about 10 minutes. So nervous and can't wait to get this over with!

In the past 30 hours, I've requested transcripts from 3 schools, updated my CV, written half of my SOP, requested LORs from 5 different contacts, heard back from 3, and worked a solid 18 hours. Time for a small rest.

paper revision, curriculum redesign resarch, and syllabusting. this is summer?

Big changes ahead! Applying for the MS in Higher Education program at Drexel University for Fall. Scrambling to get my application in order at the last minute.

I got a late acceptance! I'm going to grad school! YAAAAEEEY!

I'm not even technically a grad student yet, and my adviser is already sending me to a conference next week. Hellz yeaaaaah!
