  1. Yeah, hope she's okay. I've heard lots of good things about her from former students in other programs, so she's one of the big factors in applying there.
  2. FYI for MICA Mount Royal applicants: According to their admissions office the admissions process is held up due to Frances Barth being out on medical leave. She should be back in one week. Admissions guy also said that they do their interviews in rounds, so there are more applicants still to be notified, but it seemed a little like he was making up the process as he went along, or just agreeing with what I was asking, so not sure if that's absolutely accurate.
  3. Does anyone know how quickly you are expected to accept or decline admission if you're offered? I'm assuming schools expect you to wait to hear from everywhere you applied and financial aid before making a decision. Has anyone heard anything about this? Thanks!
  4. Hi Truthbetold, What are some of the good things you've heard about Jim Hodges? Thanks!

    HELP

B, fer sher. They're looking at your work and then your ideas. One minor typo is not a big dea.
  6. Thanks, that's reassuring. I've also since discovered the bulb is old...and that it's not an HD projector.
  7. You may have realized this by now, but Slide room won't allow any extra words, so better for you to choose which ones to take out.
  8. I'm curious to hear from folks who have experience looking at images projected. Mine look noticeably worse (and I'm confident in the quality of my images) when projected. I'm testing them on an older, borrowed projector, so I'm wondering if that could be part of what I'm seeing. I don't remember thinking at artist talks, "jeez those images look bad, the look projected," so that may be wishful thinking. Thoughts?
