Yeah there is no such thing. I think some people made it up based on school's ranking or program's ranking and think that the higher the GPA and GRE score the higher chance you'll get in. I think the admission process takes into account for other factors such as in-state or out-of-state residency, the alumni association, your portfolio against other applicants during that cycle, recommendations, number and the quality of publications, relevant experiences.. -

No I personally won't attend the ceremony unless I know my thesis is ready to be submit. I know a couple of people who attended an early ceremony and ended up graduating a year later or did not graduate at all. -

Your GPA was probably too low for graduate school in general (less than 3.0). In order to get accepted into a program, you have to get accepted to the program, and to the grad school both. The grad school will have the final say because they're in charge with all the budget and funding.....

To my knowledge, almost all assistantships and fellowships are for full-time students only.

It's a non-accredited, for-profit "school". so no...just go to a local community college if you want to become a medical assistant.

Did you file a copyright application for your thesis? I had to do that through a third party agency when I submitted my thesis to school. I was given a choice either to, (1) allow free access to all to view and download my thesis electronically via. Google (2) keep it private and only school where I graduated from can view it.

You should be okay as long as you have a strong background. I went from Chemical Engineering/Analytical Chemistry to Bioinorganic/Biophysical, it was a fairly smooth transition. -
