@ Anant & Dentist24, Good luck as you progress on your Grad school journey. Hopefully I will be joining soon. Am yet to receive my offer from U of S after the recommendation email. I got no reply to the inquiry email I sent to the CGSR. Dont know what to think right now but am staying positive. Is there anyone yet to get their official offer from U of S after the recommendation email? Please share. SFU hopefuls are offers out yet after the recommendation email? Share please.

Its good that you're yet to decide. Its better if possible to have both offers in hand before weighing and deciding. Whichever school you choose, good luck in your studies.

@ AAAAAA : This will be my 1st time applying to a graduate school in Canada so I do not have an accurate answer to your question but to help you I just thought I should let you know that I got a Recommendation email from U of S on the 23rd of Feb and am yet to get the Official Offer from the school. Most applicants received their official offer from U of S on 2nd-3rd of March and some others just last week. I gathered from this forum that no applicant has heard from SFU after the recommendation email so relax and believe that immediately offers begin to go out from SFU that you'll get yours sooner than later. I am waitlisted at SFU so I've still got some time to wait to hear from them, hopefully I'll be accepted finally. Take Care.

@ Anant : thanks for your concern, am yet to hear from U of S after the recommendation email. I sent an email to the CGSR on Monday but got no reply till date. In any case I'll keep you posted and be in contact to share thoughts on the registration process, Visa, Housing and every other preparations peculiar to an International student.

@ Anant : I sent a mail to the Graduate Secretary again on Monday and her reply was: ''thank you for your inquiry, please be advised that the final admission decision will be made from the CGSR at the U of S, I believe that you will hear from them soon regarding your admission status.

Congrats Anant,am so happy for you, am yet to receive an acceptance mail from University of Saskatchewan though. Am still praying to be accepted. I believe and trust God and I know he'll do it for me as he did 4 you. @Anant, Dentist24 and others accepted at U of S, were U given a date to decline /Accept ? Please share.

Also the mode of tuition fee payment ie Full one off payment or in instalments per term or year etc. I got recommendation mail but have not gotten an offer yet. I emailed the Grad Secretary but got no reply. I guess she's swamped with emails from hopefuls. Thank you. Also is there a deadline for you to Accept or decline. Please Share.

@ Picku and Jinja : congrats on your acceptance to SFU. I also applied for the Global Health concentration but is waitlisted. Please post information on your deadline for acceptance. Am praying to get off the wait list and into the program, so will like to know when to anticipate a reply on my final status as stated in their mail. Thank you.

Thanks Dentist. I just got an email now from sfu that I've be waitlisted, but that they'll get back to me soon on my admission status. I pray I eventually get off the waitlist and into the program.

I also got recommendation mail on the 23rd February but haven't got anything else nor heard from U of S. Am also waiting on SFU so please do post when you're contacted by them.
