I read it as intended, promise! I just have had a lot of morbid curiosity about Penn's decisions but not much hope. I'll stop stirring up hope, though. My suspicion that they're not done is probably not helping anyone and all I'm getting out of it is some solid procrastination.

I don't think there's hope for me but I'm not convinced they're done the way I am some other programs, you know?

It's going to be such a long afternoon. I have no hope with this one but one of my letter writers insisted and I think it would be cool if my only acceptance came from the school I almost overlooked. It's all about the narrative, really.

I don't think it'll be any slower than any other Monday we've had so far. A couple of places might finish what they started last week but I doubt there'll be any new news.

I'm guessing tomorrow is actually going to be pretty quiet. Maybe some wait lists continuing from Friday's schools but no one new.

I think they're also having pretty severe technical difficulties this year. I know the Political Science department had to send out decisions manually because of Wolv Access not working and it took them quite a bit longer than anticipated. I also know that umich email was just not working on Friday (which was fantastic because I couldn't even find out that I hadn't heard back until quite late) so things have been kind of rough in Ann Arbor.

Today was brutal but I don't think any of us are officially all out yet and we don't know what the adcomms are up to until they tell us. Let's all be kind to ourselves this weekend. Deal?

No, I haven't really thought about it too much and have just been counting it as a rejection/wait list. I think someone else is considering it though.

I guess. My higher ranked programs have yet to notify if that's what you mean. But I got most of my less-awesome fit schools out of the way early and nearly all of the schools I'm waiting on are best fit and so the rejections from them would/will be more crushing.
