Gulp. I agree on Chicago and MSU. Have we heard from Wayne State yet? That should be soon too right? -

Slow early-afternoon, too. Oh, Mondays! Anyone want to speculate senselessly on who will be next? I think my Berkeley hopes are not long for this world. -

Congrats!!! I'm a sucker for a redemption story on here. Nothing for me either way from Vanderbilt (or anyone but bygones) and it is getting really scary. I honestly keep logging into my application because I keep convincing myself I never actually submitted it. (I did.) -

It is way, way too early to be thinking that. I think you have good news coming. ETA wrt NYU, I think phone call notifications tend to take FOREVER to get through. -

Still no Vanderbilt, no. It kind of feels like a zombie apocalypse where I am watching everyone around me succumb and it's not a matter of if I will but when. Hour seven: trying to keep hope alive. Nearly consumed by doubt. -

Serious, serious love for those of you who were notified and are holding our sweaty, neurotic hands through this. -

And I'm F and haven't heard yet. It seems to not be alphabetical? Eta: I am about to start crying from nervous hope? -

Think positively, you two! I believe in you both. I have, however, resigned myself to yet another weekend of silence. -

Me too. Grr argh, indeed. -
I love this. But here's the thing. The odds of being entirely shut out -- just based on pure numbers, assuming a 50% chance -- are really, really bad. There are dozens of different combinations whereby you get into at least one program, but only one way in which you get into none.

I would say rather than by the end of next week (or any other somewhat arbitrary time frame), I would hold off on pessimism wrt Buffalo until the end of the next wave of admits. And even then that's not necessarily the end. -

This is something. I think I have more in common with you and 2spressos than I do some of the admits.
