I have a few if you are able to answer any of them

1. Do you know what they focus on for applications? (GRE, GPA, LOR)

2. How are the professors/faculty?

3. Is the program more education or medical based?

1. I don't know if they have any particular focus for the application, but I think like most schools your GPA and GRE scores will be used as a cut off point to help narrow out the pool of applicants

2. Faculty is amazing! I'm closer with the professors that work mostly with undergrads obviously but the few graduate professors I've had the chance to work with were really great. IMO they keep up with current research more than the stereotypical SLP and it shows in the classroom.

3. I think it's pretty balanced! The on campus clinic isn't really medically equipped, but Temple has their hospital a subway stop away so if you want more medical experience I'm sure you could get it. The clinic gets a wide range of different cases (at least from what I saw when I worked there). I personally saw aural rehab, aphasia, stuttering, and AAC cases and I'm sure there were many many others.

Wow we're totally in the same boat right now. I'm waitlisted at 4 schools...two of them are Temple and Duquesne. Best of luck to you!

I haven't heard from them yet and nothing has changed on my portal. Did things change any your portal when you got waitlisted? mine still says "complete and ready for review" ...question for anyone who has heard from them

Got an email from Temple today asking me to reconfirm my interest in remaining on the waitlist... anyone else get this? Seemed weird.

Also got this e-mail! They probably wait listed a lot of people and are now trying to trim the wait list down. I feel like they are going to accept people of the wait list soon.

Hi all! I got an email on Saturday (April 14th) that said I was accepted off of the waitlist! Very surprised to hear back BEFORE April 15th! But hopefully you'll all be hearing back too!

I'm honestly not sure what to do, because I'm waitlisted at other schools also. I also just started to come to terms with the fact that I probably wasn't going to grad school and started to make new plans and arrangements for the next year. Now I dont know what to do! AAhhhh

Best of luck!
