Is anyone still waiting to hear back from St Johns, I have emailed and I know others have emailed and said that they were still reviewing applications... I know they had an April 15th deadline but the classes are not filled either. Also has anyone committed or been rejected? There is no information on anyone that has committed or have been rejected. Any information will help!

I never emailed them cause I figured I would get the same response but I submitted my app in Jan and still no news.. I committed to somewhere else but I just want an answer cause I spent or rather wasted my time writing an essay and paying the fee to hear nothing. I find this ridiculous and unprofessional

I've been rejected from 5/6 schools and SJU is the last one I am waiting on. When I applied last year I received a rejection letter on April 10 via email, followed by a letter in the mail. I reached out to the grad admissions office last week Monday and one of the student workers told me via email my app has no decision on file, which means apps are still be reviewed. I was so upset so shortly after I emailed an assistant grad director who told me last year that my GRE was too low. (I slightly improved my score this time, but it was still quite low and horrible) I got the same response saying "the committee is still reviewing applications at this time." They told me to check back at the end of the week, but I did today and was told there was still no decision on file. 

One of the other schools I applied to was kind enough to keep my application on file for next year and told me to email them my updated GRE scores and class scores (i have to retake a prereq or two, I got C and B-) to be considered for 2019. I've been searching online classes for summer and fall, trying to plan GRE prep and I am going insane. Before registering for courses, I wish I could hear back from SJU just to be 100% sure. I find it odd that no one has posted any rejection updates or any recent acceptances. I'm sure not every person uses this forum, but I wish we could have some clarity on why it's taking so long.

I agree slpgrad620, this is quite ridiculous to wait so long, considering all the time, effort, and money put into this process. hang in there everyone!

It is very annoying, I know they are still reviewing applications, but I think they are still seeing if people have committed to other schools or still interested so I guess, if you have committed to another school and are not interested in the program you should email them saying that at least.

It's just so confusing that the deadline was April 15, so why the wait?! I saw a post from you in another section, and you mentioned that this is the first year they are only doing fall admission, no spring? Good thing I saw that, because I was considering reapplying for spring if I don't get in.  I am truly praying for us all who are struggling with our second, third, etc. application rounds. This has truly been affecting my mental health and I do not like feeling this way. Perhaps they are considering us again since we applied last year...I hope we make it!

Im in the same boat, and really relying on St John for admissions, its very annoying that they are still reviewing applications. They only sent out a few acceptances but no rejections. Last year I was rejected around April 10th, and asked them about my previous application and what I could work on, and yes asked about spring admissions but they said starting fall only admissions starting Fall 2018 (go figure...). I really just hope if they are making students wait for this long some good news will come our way! Good Luck! If I hear anything else I will def respond back.

Yes, I have heard some people say if we haven't gotten a rejection by now, it is usually a good sign...hope that's the case for us! Will keep you updated as well!

I checked my online portal and it’s still in review I just want some answer already it’s May ?

I talked to someone who was accepted months ago and they said their online portal never changed, so I've given up checking that

They sent out rejections by mail and I never received one so I assume that's a good sign. I'm still waiting to hear from 2 other schools, not including St Johns.

I have a friend that was rejected last week and the date was April 24th and said her portal changed to something different from the "congratulation you submitted your app". I also never received anything too so Im still hoping for some good news! Best of luck to you!
