Hey all,

Thought it would be nice to have a thread for comp bio interviews/admissions apart from the general bio thread.

Programs I’m waiting to hear from:

Harvard SysBio

Princeton QCB

Tri-I CBM

CPCB (won’t be announced till January, I did an NSF fellowship at Pitt this summer so I have the inside scoop on this one)

Caltech SysBio

UCSD BISB

Baylor QCB

Let’s keep each other updated, and good luck to y’all!

Is the Skype interview at Caltech for the Systems Bio track of the Graduate Biology program?

Yes, I'm almost certain that's the track I applied to, though from what I've heard I think other tracks were also hearing back, @ClayR

Interesting. Any idea what the Skype interview means? Seems uncommon, most schools just do in-person.

@ClayR, I literally had my interview today after receiving an email from them on Monday. It was a mix of research (technical and descriptive) and personal.
