Now that the application deadlines are over, thought I'd start a thread for people who are hoping to join UWaterloo in Fall 2019. 

I have applied for PhD in Environmental Engineering. Please post the degree and the area of study you have applied to. We can use this thread to discuss the status of the applications and share our anxieties.

what is POI?

i applied for Mmath in quantum information program at C&O depatment. Anticipating good result for this program since I have good background and letters in that field. Hope to see the results ASAP.

@Toc Younger and @Guldam Kwack good luck to both of you with your application. I hope they announce the results soon. Waterloo is my first choice. Is UWaterloo your first choice as well? Have you heard back from your other applications?

I applied for a PhD program in Statistics at University of Waterloo on Jan 28th, 2019.

Received an informal offer on Feb 13th, 2019, and currently waiting for the formal admission letter.

 I am still waiting.. hope the department would reach the decision ASAP..

I applied for Masters in Computer Science (Coursework). I recently got a grad e-newsletter from them regarding what the steps are in the application process and general statistics about their university. But other than that, it's been radio silence a.k.a. "No decision has yet been made by the academic department."

@Guldam Kwack I hope so too. This month isn't moving as fast as I'd like it. Fortunately, I received an unofficial acceptance from the PI on Tuesday. Official letter to follow. No information on funding yet. I hope they send out the letters soon so all of us can make our final decisions.

Anyone here received formal acceptance yet? The graduate coordinator of the program I applied, told me the decisions would be made by April 1. I hope we get our official decisions this week. I wonder what's taking them so long. I have also noticed other candidates here in gradcafe complaining about Waterloo's delay in announcing their decisions.  Hopefully this week is the week.

Just got my experience to their Digital Experience Innovation (MDEI). Just over a 4 week wait to hear back, but that's probably on me for applying right at the deadline. Accepted UofT's offer for their Information masters, anyway.
